My Sisters card

Good morning all

I wanted to make my Sister a card , she is coming home today.

Card Recipe

Cut a piece of card stock 10x6/1/2

Used Fiskars boarder punch on the short sides of the paper.

fold in half, then fold the corners back

EKSuccess corner punch

cut 1 2x2 square & cut it in half.... trimmed to fit in corner punches.

cut 2 pieces of card stock 3 7/8 x 1 5/8 & 3 1/2 x 1 1/8 for the front flaps.

I ran the bottom layer thru cuttle bug with Swiss dot folder.

top layer cuttle bug folder with love.

tied ribbon around them, added tiny flower punch flowers & pearls.

A small heart button in the corner

Inside card cut card stock 6 1/2

I cuttle bugged with Swiss dots

Cut a strip of white card stock 4 3/8 x 1 1/8...cuttle bug folder with love & scalloped boarder.

Cricut cart story book for scalloped circle cut at 3 1/4 ins...If you don't have storybook there are other carts that have a scalloped circle.

Added LOTS & LOTS of ( PEARLS )

stickles , Magnolia stamps ...that Pricy sent me Colored and pop dotted. I am gonna put welcome home on the inside flaps of the doors.....

Birthday card

Good morning all

I thought I would try coloring again.....

Pricy sent me more stamped Magnolias...( they are so cute ) I can't just leave them lay there...lol

Card Recipe

Used my Score pal and scored lines on the card

Cricut cart story book... for scalloped oval / pop dotted the layers

Cuttle bug / folder Swiss dots for oval

Magnolia stamp pop dotted I also cut the legs off and pop dotted them to give them that 3d feel.

Colored her with colored pencil

Stickles/ Martha Stewart Scallop boarder punch layered

Raffia ribbon Tied a little string on it for texture.

Hand made the tag and stamped Happy Birthday on it with a stamp & doodled.

Pearls of course...............

I have to finish the inside yet...I got side tracked...lol that's not hard for me to do.

Good morning all

I was making a card the other night and I cut out a scalloped oval, then I saw the cut that was left , and I wanted to do something with it.....I think this is really cool ...

Then I didn't have any Bunny stamps ....sooooo I was on line looking and came across the sweetest Bunny clip art. So I downloaded them and put them on cards.

No one would ever know they are clipart ...unless of course you tell them...lol

Card recipe

Used Storybook ...for the cut out scallops

Fiskars ...threading water boarder punch & Martha Stewart scallop boarder punch.

Ribbon.... Clip art..Studio G Happy Easter stamp

And LOTS ....of Pearls....gotta luv them !!!!!

I think they turned out really cute...

Good morning all

Well I played a little last night ...I seen another Quickut I liked

It is this long legged chick.....I thought it was so cute, so I made one.

You could use it as a new baby card or an Easter card ....anything really.

That's why I didn't put anything on the inside yet ...Don't know what I'm using it for ...

Design Studio for the chick & Egg

cartridges.... George & Doodle Charms

Cuttle bug with love folder for the boarder

Sewed....And another hickey ~ma~ bobber I don't know what it is called...but they are cool to use.

Tied ribbon around it.

Doodled on the chick ...pop doted chick & Egg...inked around the edge of chick

added a flower on the wing & a small bow...google eye.

Tiny flower punch with pearls....Cut the Egg in half with zig zag scissors and stickled the edge

On the inside I embossed, sewed and added tiny flowers.....

Well I got some new Studio G stamps at Michael's this weekend, so I had to play.

They have the cutest stamps for Easter.....Gotta check them out....

EK Success wave boarder punch

Studio G stamp Bunny's ... I embossed them & added pearls for their tales.pop dotted

Happy Easter is a Studio G stamp

ribbon tied around a thing- a -ma -jig...I don't know what it is called....lol

On the inside another Studio G stamp...EK Success boarder punch & computer saying....

Celebrate Spring

Good Saturday morning

I made My version of a Chick-a-Dee, and wanted to put it on a card.

I think It is sooooo cute.

Card Recipe

Design Studio .... the Chick-a-Dee..... { George }

Inked around the edge & pop dotted the legs.

Basket ... from doodle charms cart...cut at 5 1/2 ins ( not A cut file ).

Eggs cut at 3/4 & 1/2 & 1 in ovals from George....

Stickles

Grass ....cut at 1 in from plantin school book...pop dotted

small flower punch with tiny pearls....you know I had to add them !!!!!

Martha Stewart zig zag boarder punch layered with green

Green polka dot ribbon & pink lacy ribbon for trim on basket.

Cuttle bug mosaic tiles for the basket....stamped Celebrate Spring with the new studio G's

On the inside studio G stamp eggs, colored with color pencils....tiny punch flowers & computer saying, Checked paper from DCWV paper stack , I think spring.

more zig zag & eggs finish it off.......

My 2nd Star card

This one is my fav of the two.

I used Design Studio....... Card 1 & 2 are the same cut file , I just embellished them different.

George for the Star....

Martha Stewart zig zag boarder punch ...layered pink & green.

I used paper ribbon for the bow & wrapped around the heart.

Swiss dots cuttle bug folder & punched the edge. Added small gems on the zig zag

and around the cut out of the heart.

Pop dotted the star , and put a button with a gem in the middle for the center of the star.

scored lines on the front with score pal.....on the in side I stamped let's Celebrate.

Star Card

Good morning all

Hope it's a sun shiny day....it's raining and blah here....

Well I got to play a little last night ,so I made another cut file of a star.

I made 2 cards ....

The 1st ........Happy Birthday star cardIUsed

Design Studio

George....for the star

The font Happy Birthday I cut at 2ins from Calligraphy, Stickled them.

Martha Stewart Star boarder punch with strips of purple & blue behind it.

Added Pearls , Blue & Purple gems. I wrapped Sparkly string around the heart & used the same string for a bow.

Pop dotted the heart & added pearls to the tips and a large heart gem in the center.

Quick Easter Card

Good Morning all

I made another spring card...I think these are so cute & they are easy to make.

Directions are on Dawn's stamp site at the bottom of my page...just look for spring card ...I think she has 2 of them on there.

I just embossed it with cuttle bug swirls folder... stamped somebody loves me bunny

Used ribbon ...sewed...and pom poms for the feet

colored it with pencils.... and tied a button on it....also used a corner punch on top...

embossed it with cuttle bug folder/ with love

and I tied soft fuzzy yarn around it....

Good Sunday all,

Well I was playing again last night and I came up with this one...I think it is really cute!

I thought it would be good for an encourgement ,get well, hello ,card...a real versatal card.

for smile I used going places and cut it at 2ins , shadowed also ,stickled it & put a pearl for the dot on the I.

you can use any font .......... I didn't cut this with ds.

Used my Martha Stewart scallop boarder punch {my fav}Pop dotted the sun and sun face.

Used my score pal for the lines....Ribbon & Stickles.

Lots of PEARLS...again..told you I love them!

I didn't do the inside ..Don't know what I'm gonna use it for yet.

Church Window Cross

Good Saturday morning to you all

It is sun shiny here so I feel pretty good.

Well I got another brain storm last night...I thought about stained glass windows

and Hmmmmmm here is my version of one.

It didn't come out as big as I wanted it to ...But it still makes a statement.

Carts used.....Christmas Noel/George/Storybook

I used purple vellum for the window and run it through the cuttle bug ...embossed with swirls folder.

The Cross embossed with cuttle bug folder / Swiss dots.

Pop dotted the Cross & heart

Ribbon & pearls of course....

Martha Stewart branch punch....not just for Christmas!

The inside reads

I cut the card out with Design studio

then fold the card in half ( starting from left to right )

top half of card fold to the left making sure the cut design is folded in half.

I used strips of blue paper behind the card for added color.

then layer and decorate ....

An Easter Page Card

Good morning all

Well I'm back...But not quit up to par yet....So I'm taking it a little slower

I made this card using ..... Pooh & Friends /for the book

made the cross with George

Flowers & wreath .... Story Book

I used cuttle bug /Swiss dots folder

Stickles/ Pearls/Pop dots/And Martha Stewart scalloped boarder punch

Ribbon....and the Easter saying I found on the net.....inked around the edges of the book & cross.

used my score pal to make a couple of lines around the edge of the card.

Another heart frame card

Good Sunday morning all

For those who asked ...I took a turn for the worst last night

I was up all night fevered and achy....ouch!!!!

I'm gonna call the doctor...I think I have the flu.

OK enough of me...for this card I used

My score pal and made a grid...put pearls on it.

punched the heart frame ...embossed it with tiny circles cuttle bug folder

pop dotted it .

New Fiskars boarder punch....those asking what the name is ...for the life of me i can't find it.

I used pins / white ribbon & a button

joys of the season cart for the tag /stamped thank you on it

and embossed the inside.

Something New

Good Saturday all

I have been sick ....so been playing a little.

I was surfing the net and found a new technique...might not be for some ...but for me yes!!!

1..... Cut 2 circles 3 3/4 ...for one use card stock....the other use lite weight paper

to make a template....Fold the template in half , turn then fold it in half again ...repeat this til you have an 8 piece pie....

2..... Take your EK SUCCESS corner heart punch and take the corner shield off...( IT COMES OFF PRETTY EASY ).

3.... punch the heart inside each piece of the pie...( IT MAKES THE MOST GORGEOUS ROUND FRAME ) when you are done you might have to trim some pieces to make the center pop out.

then I embossed it and used PEARLS of course...Make another circle for the backing

I pop dotted it on to a 4 3/4 scalloped circle

Used cuttle bug folder/ with love and Fiskars threading water punch

A large ribbon and tied a button on it with jute....for texture.....

I think this make a Gorgeous card...You could put a picture in it ..or a Letter..anything really

Butterfly card

T.G.I.F.

Good morning all

Well I played a little more,and made a butterfly ...for Spring

For this one I used .....Design Studio for the cut/ carts NEW ARRIVAL & GEORGE

I embossed the butterfly with cuttle bug/folders Swiss dots & Swirls.

Stickled dots on the wings & stickled the flowers in Spring. Pop dotted the top layer of the Butterfly.

Used google eyes a bow & Used score pal for the lines on the card.

Used a cut out flower piece from Fiskers flower boarder punch,,,for the dot on the I added a pearl also.

Fiskers flower boarder punch, with a strip of pink card stock behind it.

( NOT ON THE CUT FILE ).... I used Stretch your Imagination for the spring cut , and glued it on. This way you can put what you want on it.

And more pearls...gotta lovum !!!!

Disney Card

Good morning all

Well I have been thinking alot about Disney...with Our up coming trip.

I thought this would make a great card.

I have another one I'm working on also.

I used My Disney cut file from Design Studio

Mickey head cut in 1/2 pop dotted it & embossed with cuttle bug swirls folder

Ribbon.... EK Success boarder punch...put rhinestones on it

embossed with love ...cuttle bug& sanded the with love & the edges of the Mickey .

Doodled and a red heart jem for the dot on the I. Put a strip of white behind the boarders .

Cross 3

Good Morning all

Well I got to play a little last night.

I thought I would make another Cross...give some choices for Easter!

I used a 6 1/2 x 5 card {cards & envelopes} are in a package sold at Michael's.

I used purple vellum...cuttle bugged it with Swirls folder

for the corners I cut a 2x2 in square then cut it in half and used my Martha Stewart scalloped boarder punch.

The Cross was made using { GEORGE & STORYBOOK} in design studio

cuttle bugged it with Swiss dots folder...I really have to get some new folders...lol

pop dotted behind the Cross & the layers.

Pearls ....AGAIN...I know but they just make a statement ...don't ya think?

Oh NO

Good Morning all
Well last night after super We were going for our nightly walk.
My husband walked by the refrigerator, and ask me what that hissing sound was.
We pulled the fridge out ....GOOD thing ...the water hose to the ice maker was spraying every where.......So we shut the water off ...SO WE THOUGHT..... went to Lowe's got the new part.
We come home to a mess...found out the shut off valve is bad and won't shut off all the way.
My Kitchen is above my Landry room were I store a lot of stuff......It had run down through the ceiling along the the furnace duct work , and went all over everything...
So I will be busy today with the clean up....I have a few more things I have been working on though

Snowman card

Good Monday morning,

I hope everyone is warm.....it's 10 here this morning Brrrrrrr .Sorry for the dark pics but it's cloudy here.

Well that being said this is the perfect card for today.

Not that I like winter...but I love snowmen.

This another card with a cut file....

I used George....& Design Studio

cuttle bug....Swiss dots & swirls folders

Martha Stewart star boarder punch...put blue card stock behind it

blue sparkle sheer, wired ribbon.

small heart punch ... I used for the buttons & put pearls on them

Put pearls on the stars also.....tied the ribbon around the snowman for a scarf.

colored card stock on the bottom layer of snowman

I cut out the circle 4 times each ...glued them together to make them look like chip board

them I pop dotted the small circle .

He has no FACE.....you say well I tryed everything I had and didn't like any of it

so I said he is an Amish snowman...lol

My take on My own card

Good Sunday morning

thought I would post be I head off to church

This is another Easter card I made with my oval cut.

I loooooove the colors on this one...Green is my favorite color

I made the oval look like and egg so I did a half shell

I used zig zag edge scissors for the edge of the egg

made score lines then sanded them,cut a peice of the ribbon and put on the egg

used cuttle bug ... embossing folders/ swiss dots & swirls

google eyes / heart brad for nose/ white bow /stickles

Bunny is cut from doodle charms at 2 ins

made a circle & cut it in half for the bunny's paws

hoppy Easter ribbon / and of course pearls ...these pearls are self adheasive and come on strips ...so they are real easy to put on ....just peel & stick.

I used my NEW...... EK SUCESS boarder punch ...I think this one is gonna be another favorite one. I layered it ...I love the look....If you are gonna add a boarder to your card

I cut about 1/2 in or a little better off the ends first....so the card is not to big.

I also used pop dots behind the egg & bunny

and I used my score pal to make the lines on the card
