My 1 st Shirt

Hi all

I am soooo excited, I have been wanting to try these freezer paper tee shirts...( I know I am a little behind )....lol.

And you all know how crazy I am about Twilight so my very first shirt would have to be a Team Edward shirt !!!!!

I am really pleased at how it turned out , really excited about trying some more....

The colors are way off in the pic...the heart looks pink but I used Metallic red paint....but some how it shows up pink.

I designed the pic on the front and the saying on the back in design studio...

using cuttin up/ plantin school book /tinker bell and Hannah Montana carts.

If you do not have Hannah or tink ...I used Hannah for the lips and tink for the sparkles that did not show up well in the pic ...but you could delete them if you would like and add something else.....

August calendar page

Good morning all

Well I am finally done with my calendar.....You all can say (yeah ) now.

They where fun to make but I am glad they are done.....I know that August is not officially fall, but I liked the letter clips and I couldn't think of a word for the page so I put fall...OK you can shake your head now.... I know I can't believe the dumb things I do sometimes !!!! My niece wants me to make her a twilight one...I won't post til I'm done I promise!

I really enjoyed doing the vintage because I got to be creative ......this was my old style of scrapping before I got my cricut...had to really get creative!

I have a few other projects I'm gonna get started on. Dawn ask where I get my Images I just Google vintage post cards.....

September Calendar page

Good Friday to you all

Before I tell you about my page I have to tell you

My Daughter calls me all excited this morning, on her way to work she got to see the President

in his limo surrounded by police.....they are having the G 20 in Pittsburgh today...and a lot of the world leaders and the President are there....Just wanted to share ( I think that is cool )...I told her she just witnessed history!...lol

Ok now for my page

I got one more to go...I really like how this one turned out...I LOVE FALL !

maybe that is why.This one went a lot faster and better for me than the last one.

Mother in laws Birthday card

I had to take a break from my calendar pages ...( I only have 3 left ).

Had to make my Mother In law her card, Her Birthday is Oct 2ND so I thought I would make her a fall card...I have had my A child's year cart for a while and didn't play to much with it so I thought I would give it a try ...I really like how this turned out!

Jan Calendar page

Good morning all

I know I am dragging these last few pages out but ...I have been pretty busy.

We went to the covered bridge festival over the weekend ...it was very nice

we had great weather and I was with all my Family so what more could I ask for....

Well I was busy yesterday ...putting out the rest of my fall decorations.

So I only got 2 done last night.

The shamrocks I welded together in DS.

I did more paper taring and jewels ...because I LOVE IT !!!!

The February page is not of the era I have been using , But I really liked the pic....

I am working on January, February and March right now.

These are so much fun! I forgot I wasn't putting them in the cases ...so I detailed these a little more.

another calendar page

Good morning all

Well for those of you ( ROSE ) ....lol that was expecting more pages.

I only got one done last night.....It was open house at Courtney's school, We got to meet her teacher and see the school , had a great time!

This is her 2nd week at school and we are having a bit of a problem...She loved going and now she has had a problem with a BULLY on the bus ...her Mom talked to the bus driver and he took care of it but now she doesn't want to go to school she cry's every morning...It just breaks my heart...Why do kids have to be so mean! It is a big adjustment for her , she is an only child never been to day care... and only plays with a few kids ...but she is a very out going person so she will do just fine....But I don't know if Grammy will ( SIGH )!

So on to the calendar page...I was ask what size they are .......

2 pcs of card stock

2nd cut @ 4 3/4 x 4 1/2

patterned paper cut @ 4 1/2 x 4 1/4

then just add what you want to it!

like I said it is to put in a CD case...but I am displaying mine on a easel.

Vintage Calendar (Sandy Inspired)

Good morning all

Well thank GOD I got my MOJO back......

I have seen so many great thinks on the net lately that really have been inspiring me.

One of them is this Calendar...Sandy really inspired me, she is making one and what a great job she is doing ck it out http://sandyfromukiah.blogspot.com/

Well I made mine a little different ...I love the vintage look so that's how I am doing mine.

And because I am a mixed up kinda person...I started in the middle...lol

I did July, Oct and Nov.... I am working on April , May and Dec.

I really like these the are easy and fun...I don't think I am gonna put these in a CD case...

I think I am gonna put them on an easel to display them.

My Niece wants me to make her a twilight one (might have to try that one)

I just love the Vintage look and country....

I was surfing the net and came across these pics of vintage Halloween & Christmas cards

I made a couple cards ....

I used Plantin School Book for the Tag cut @ 4 3/4 ins

Sweet Hearts cart for ....the corner flourish...( Becoming my fav accent piece )

and the shape piece behind the pic...cut @ 3 3/4 ins

A poem from the computer...inked everything...pop dotted and the tag on the front opens for a little message inside....

Happy Halloween

Good Morning all

On this sad day Let us not forget 9/11 and say a prayer for our country.

On a brighter note I made another card ...I keep bouncing back and fourth from Halloween to Christmas card....can't decide I like them both I love the colors of fall they are my favorite!...But I love Christmas the most and snow flakes ,Santa...just everything about it.

For this card I used

Paper dolls cart for....the bat cut @ 6 ins and doodled added google eyes and pop dotted.

Since I am such a Huge Team Edward Fan ...I decided to make a card !

Get well card

Good Monday morning to you all

Hope you are having a great Labor day weekend...It's raining here and today my Daughter turns 30....ouch ! Boy that makes me feel old...but that's OK I started young , It was great growing up with my kids ...I wouldn't change a thing !

I made this card for A friend of my Husband that just had surgery...

Used a decoupage pattern of a beach...I really like how this one turned out.

used burlap garland and some buttons...pop dots

on the inside used life's a beach for the chair cut @ 3ins

and the saying is computer made.

Good Saturday to you all

Well I couldn't sleep this morning so I got up at 5 am..come down on the computer with my coffee, I was looking at the cricut message board and seeing all these flower pot cards.

I thought that you could make a Halloween card with that idea also....I am making a Christmas one too!

For this I used Paper doll cart for Ghost cut @ 6ins added google eyes

Tomb Stone cut @ 11ins... 2 times sewed them together and doodled.

cat/ pumpkin and fence...cat cut @ 3ins added google eyes& pop dotted.

pumpkin cut at 3ins cut 3 times to layer in different colors... added a bat and pop dotted.

fence cut @ 4ins....

Plantin School cart for RIP cut @ 1 in

studio g stamp spider and web I covered the web and used just the spider...

cut out the center part of the tomb stone cut in white and used for the ghost pop up ...

on the inside I used a studio g stamp happy Halloween and doodled.

and cut out bats from Martha Stewart bat boarder punch

Sorry it is taking me sooo long in between posts

I really have lost my MOJO....if anyone knows where it went would you please tell it to come back....LOL I don't know what's wrong with me lately, I have no MOJO and can't seem to get anything done.....

I thought when Courtney went to school I would get a lot done ...(ha ha )
