Well I was feeling good enough to stay up and I thought I should so I did the 3 in one challenge

They all combined and did a 3 in one challenge ...I love it. These are some great blogs check them out and have fun.

So for this one

I followed the sketch for...SOUS

Used 3 ribbons for....... PS

and used an owl for .....FD

This is a layout of our last trip to Disney in May 09...oh I so want to go back!

I used Mickey and Friends cart for....Mickey cut @ 3 1/2 ins and pop dotted

Film strip cut @ 3 1/4 ins

Disney cut @ 3ins and pop dotted doodled too.

Hands & Mickey ears boarders cut @ 1 in and pop dotted

Mickey & Friends Font cart for Owl cut with silhouette 1 1/2 ins

Ribbon , I used a picture frame that came in a packet I bought at Disney.

Lace and I used my Disney tape that I got in Disney for the strip down the side of the film strip

and punched it with Martha Stewart small heart punch.

Added a small 3 D owl sticker and hand wrote always.....

Smypathy card

Good morning all

Well I really think I have the flu...I layed on the couch all day yesterday

Got up today and feel like crap!...so guess what right back to the couch today also.

My Mom went to church last night and they said their are a lot of people at the church that are sick... a couple of them are in the hospital... So I am thankful I am not that bad.

Now on with my card

I made this card for my Husbands friend at work, his Grandma died.

I used Cricut cart Story book pg 53 & 49 accent blackout 49 cut @ 3ins & 53 cut @ 2ins.

Cricut cart Paper doll dress up for the fence cut @ 2ins and inked, I added tiny leaves from a dollar punch and added raffia and lace/ leaf stamp

Cricut cart Pooh & Friends for grass cut @ 1 1/2 ins Pumpkins cut several times 2ins.

computer saying

Brads and I made the cornstalk out of raffia and added a paper flower

pop dots/ inked the edges

So I am not doing so good here remembering....I think that is it

More Treat bags

Good morning all

This is a quick post as I am feeling a little under the weather today

I woke up this morning with a killer sore throat a really rough raspy voice and feeling yuky.....

I guess its that time of the year!

Any way back to crafts I liked the first treat bag so much I made more...I am gonna fill them with goodies and give them to my Grand kids for trick or treat.

Hi everyone...I did this card for 2 challenges

Wow I can't believe I did 2 posts in one day...that's a record for me...lol

For Occ challenge we were ask to Create a card or a project inspired by your favorite holiday book or movie. Christmas is my Favorite time of the year and I love everything about it....

So for mine I choose One of my many favorites The Polar Express...

Cuttle bug embossing folder Swiss dots & Swirls

Cricut Calligraphy cart for the title that I welded and cut with Design Studio.

Cricut cart Joys of the Season for the bell cut @ 2 ins / pop dotted and added a string.

used gold foil paper for the bell and Believe

This is a copy of a picture of my Mom & Dad when they were dating...He came home on leave from the Navy...pic was taken in 1944.

Martha Stewart boarder punch combo ( deco fan )...I really like how easy this is to add the corners to the boarder...somebody came up with a great idea!

Distressed and inked the paper

Paper is from K & Company's Life's Journey paper pack.

The tags/flowers/stamp, ticket and paper clip all came from a kit ( Making Memories ) vintage findings...part of the goodies I won from Rose....

The leaf was inked and cut from Cricut cartridge A Child's year cut @ 1 1/2

The Title was cut @ 2 ins Cricut cartridge A child's year

Letter brads...silk flowers

The tag with the date on it is from Cricut cartridge Storybook....cut @ 2 1/2 ins and layered on top of another tag inked and pop dotted added some pearls and brads...ribbon I inked and string....Lace and pom pom garland.....

Cuttle bug embossing folder Haunted House....used purple stickles in the windows and chalked it...then pop dotted it.

Chalked the card and doodled it.

I think I am really starting to like them.

So on this one they wanted witches bats or Halloween basically

So this is what I come up with

A card that has a lot of layering , I distressed the edges of the paper and inked them.

And I love this color scheme....

attached that to a big button and added thread.

The picture is from the Internet along with 2 you , pop dotted them added corner punches from E K success, and put it on a nestie....

Let it Snow / O C C Challenge

This is what I came up with....

I used Cricut cart A Child's year for..... the tag card cut @ 6ins and embossed with cuttle bug folder Swiss dots.

Stamps and Smiles ...Snowman /Let it Snow ....... I love these stamps....Thanks Rose!

mat behind let it snow I cut with decorative scissors.

added striped paper at the top of the card ...doodled ...pop dotted the gloves and scarf of snowman...colored with pencils and oms.

added the brown ribbon /pearls....and google eyes.

Added pearls / lace/ fibers /Oct 3 D Sticker/ Martha Stewart Creepy branch punch.

Big Flower that I stamped on....and pop dotted....Bat Girl from computer ,matted and pop dotted.

Sweet heart cricut cart for the picture mat cut @ 6ins and cuttle bug embossed with swirls folder....

OCC Challenge

Good Monday all

An update on Courtney...she stayed home from school today still not feeling up to par yet but doing better. The Church outing went really good...lots of food and every one had a great time.

I think this might be the first time I made a card with out the cricut....lol

Not much in way of a recipe this card was pretty simple....

used a vintage pic from the Internet cropped it and pop dotted it . Matted 2 rectangles and a oval ...doodled them.

hand scribbled happy Halloween and pop dotted it.

ribbon , witch hat button and some black skittles...cuttle bugged with pumpkin embossing.

oh and tore the background paper...

That easy!

Timeless Treasure

Good Saturday to you all

Let me first start by telling you that ...I took my Grand Daughter Courtney to the doctor on Thursday for her yearly Check up...She got her Flu shot....( Not such a great Idea )

She has been sick ever since.... She got sick as soon as we hit the parking lot from the Doctors...that's how fast the shot took hold. Talk about scared....

We called the doctor they say she is having a reaction to the shot and will be fine in a couple of days...boy what a BAD couple of days we had ...fevered ,aches , stomach ache ,vomiting

stuffy snotty nose....and NO SLEEP !!!!!!!!

She is feeling a little better to day...thank God.

Cut patterned paper to fit on background paper...inked and distressed it...love that look !

Tore some of the paper and inked...

Clock pic from Internet cut circles out @ 1in with George...4 times glued to back of clock to look like chip board pop dotted.

Cameo button...tule...pearls...

Spell binder butter fly

Title is from Internet pop dotted and inked.

Plantin school book cart for.....tag cut @ 4ins tied tulle on it for a bow.

Story book cart for....pic frame cut @ 5 ins and I trimmed some of the inside off so the pic would show better inked it and added pearls.

Home accent cart for ....corner flourishes cut @ 6 ins.

Made Sandy's flower ....she has a tutorial on stuckonusketches.....I am finding myself using it quite a bit . use Graphically speaking and child's year carts.

And the picture of my Mom ...I think she is Beautiful...she hated this pic she was about 15 at the time...school pic.

She said she wasn't ready for the pic her hair was a mess and didn't wear nice outfit...( but I don't think so )...I love how she wore her hair....She is now 82 and Just as Beautiful & my best friend!

I thank God for her.

I took this picture of my Grand Daughter Lily last year at Trax Farms.....

They have a really nice fall Festival every year...and I'm getting excited it should be this month!

I love going to fall festivals.

Carts....

A childs year....for girl with rake cut @ 4 ins inked and pop dotted

Stretch your imagination....for tree cut @ 8 ins inked and doodled, leaves cut @ 2ins & 1 1/2 ins inked, sun flowers cut @ 4 ins & 3 ins inked & pop dotted . I think the tree could have stood to be a bit darker ...it kinda blends in a little to much ...I think.

Paper dolls dress up....for fence cut @ 2 1/2 ins inked and embossed with cuttle bug ...pop dotted.

Home decor....flourish cut @ 3ins , small branch cut @ 2ins.

Design Studio for scalloped paper, inked.

Tore the papers and inked every thing.....

Used burlap and lace...(nice combo ).... Buttons , string, doodled, Pumpkin stamp added tiny leaves from a punch and pop dotted it.

Round music sheet from the computer torn ,crinkled and inked....sticker for the title.

The frame around the picture is a left over from spell binders die cut....

Good evening all

I Love Nanne's work and this one was inspired by her......

I took this picture of my 2 Grand Daughters Lily & Courtney...they were standing in the middle of a creek....they looked so cute together hugging .....(sorry ) had a bragging moment...lol

But I just LOVE them to pieces....

Ok on with all the how tos and such...

I used

Sweet Heart cart for....Cartoche cut @ 7 1/4 ins I used the cut out and layered it over the flowered paper...made a really nice mat to work with.

Paper Dolls cart for.....fence cut @ 2 1/2 in boarder, and inked, added lace , Martha Stewart punch branch and small flowers , and pals chip board sticker.

Walk in my garden cart for........sun flower cut @ 3 1/2 ins multiple times for a chip board look added a large button and string , also inked.

Shovel and rake cut @ 2 ins...added Martha Stewart punch branches and paper flowers.

Home decor cart for.....Flourishes cut @ 3ins...2 different cuts.

I used Sandy's flower tutorial ....Graphically speaking for the flower .....and a child's year for the leaves....

added a chip board sticker in the middle and some Martha Branches....pop dotted.

spell binder frame embossed......

studio g corner flower and swirl stamps ...doodled the lines.

I loved the title Cousins are different flowers from the same garden...that is why I made the 2 different flowers......I printed it and added buttons with sting.....

I colored the corner flowers with colored pencils.....

I think that's it....I really love this one...I think it is one of my favorites !
