First aid kit

Good morning all

I was in a crafty mood last night and I have all kinds of things that I wanted to alter .

This is a small tin some people call them lunch boxes , I thought it would be cute as a First aid kit.

I am gonna put some band aids , salves all the things you would find in a first aid kit.

I think it turned out cute!

I Used

Cricut everyday paper dolls cart for the Nurse and Doctor bag

Cricut Plantin Schoolbook cart for the addition sign that I used as a medic symbol

Cricut cart Indie art for the band aids cut @ 2 ins

Nurse was cut @ 3ins

Computer font ( first aid kit )

And I thought the hugs and kisses ribbon was perfect for it......

It was really easy to do and came together rather quickly.

Here is a card I made for the Practical Scrappers Challenge this week.....

The Challenge is to use stamps on a project.

I choose to make a ( SPRING ) card oh just saying the word makes me feel great! I can't wait for the warm sun shiny days....

I used DCWV Glitter paper

Spell binder Nestie Ovals

A Large Flower Stamp colored with pencils and added a button

Pink ribbon with bees and flowers on it , stuck a few flowers I made with flower soft in it.

Martha Stewart scallop edge boarder punch.

Embossed the white paper with cuttle bug journal folder

Celebrate spring stamp

pop dots

It's a boy

Good Friday to you all, sorry I have not been around to every ones blogs but I have been under the weather this week...I have a sinus infection and boy does my head hurt! I haven't been doing to much lately....

I have a Baby shower to go to Saturday so I made this card for it

I used Cricut cart ...New Arrival for the boat cut it about 5 times to make it look like chip board.

I think I cut it @ 3 ins maybe 2 and 1/2 ....

Used Debbie Mumm paper

Spellbinders nesties and cut out the front of the card for a window ...the boat is on the inside

Ribbon/ duck stamp colored and cut out/ Just rite stamp and a circle chip board.

This was a very easy fast card and I really like how it turned out!

Good Tuesday morning to you all

Over at Practical Scrappers this week the challenge is to use flowers on your project.

This one was an easy one.....

I did a layout of my Courtney when she was about 1 & 1/2 years old , she loved glasses

and still does ....

I used

KC & Company papers

Cricut cart Don Juan for the title cut @ 2 ins 5 times to make it look like chip board.

Cricut cart Home accents for the large flourish cut @ 3ins

Prima flowers added crystal flowers to the centers

Used flower paper for the Spellbinder butterfly's added stickles

Sewed along the edge of the large mat and added some jewels along the top corner.

Ribbon/ Lace/ Pom Pom ribbon

Feels good to see some flowers for a change ...Not Snow!

I really enjoyed this one it is a classic design that is very versatile.

I made this card for my Daughter to take to a baby shower we are going to ....

added ribbon, buttons and a sm duck button.

SOUS Challenge

Good Friday to you all

I have got all kinds of great news for you to ....

First we were spared the bulk of this last storm we had some rain and ice for a little while so that cut the amount way down , we only got 2 or 3 inches more...Ohhh THANK YOU LORD !

Next I am soooooo excited I was asked to be the very FIRST GUEST DESIGNER

for Stuck on you Sketches I have been a Big fan from the very beginning.

They are starting to become very popular.....Maybe because of the four very talented, sweetest

Ladies that I am glad to call my FRIENDS....Nanne, Sandy,Leah and Sandi congrats Ladies on such a great Sketch challenge site...With that said if you haven't checked them out and played along why don't you do that......you will be inspired!

This week they have a great sketch from Liz Qualman and with a bit of a twist they have asked that you use red or pink on your project.

The page I did was of my Wedding the pic is not that great being it came from an old Polaroid camera you know way back in 1976 the instant cameras...so the quality isn't that great...but I only had a couple pics!

I had fun with this sketch....

There is so much detail on here that's hard to see, gonna try to tell you.

I used

K&Company paper ...the colors are not showing up very well.

Cricut carts ... Calligraphy & plantin school for the title and hearts, I cut all the letters out about 5 times to make them look like chip board and used pink flock for become /heat embossed hearts and one with red glitter.

2 different size paper lace hearts

Cuttle bug embossing folder I embossed the 3 hearts

A Nestie butterfly added glitter and pink flock to it.

Glitter heart to mark the day on the calendar

cut circles for the wedding rings and attached them to the ribbon with a safety pin.

Paper flowers and crystal flowers /pearls/glitter leaves

Martha Stewart boarder punch and I paper pleated and added pom pom ribbon.

Brads/ Practical Scrappers Challenge

Good Tuesday to you all

Well it looks like we are gonna get another winter storm , today 6 to 12 more inches of snow...I don't know where I am gonna put it all! I really gotta get my MoJo rolling here I am missing out on some great scrapping time....although Courtney does not have school again today, boy are they gonna have a lot of make up days....

Oh well on to better things

The Challenge this week over at Practical Scrappers is Brads.

Stop on over and play along and see what the other designers have come up with.

Brads are standard - we've all got 'em and we all use 'em! This week we will have a winner for the project that uses the most brads (you must leave us a comment with the number of brads you used to be considered), a winner for the most creative use of brads, and a winner for our favorite project. So 3 ways to win!

Well you all know my MoJo has taken a vacation on me....so I did a very simple card( Whew)

For this card I used

Cricut cart A Child's years for the card and the silhouette

Martha Stewart heart punch

Inked and embossed lines with score pal.

Added a BUNCH of small flower brads....

A ribbon and studio g stamp and pop dots .....

That's it simple.........

Book Markers

Good Morning all

Well we made it through the big storm , still working on digging out!

One good thing the sun is shining today...We are expecting more snow Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kelly I think I will come down and visit you for a while....LOL

Over at Practical Scrappers one of our very talented design team members Dianne made this

cute book marker and I loved it, She has a tutorial on her blog. Thought I would give it a try ...so I made a couple for my Grand Daughter Courtney to give to her Teacher.

You use and envelope to make these then just decorate them....very simple to make.

I used a Circle Nestie and just rite stamp

circle nestie and sew many heart flower stamp/ colored with C pencils and OMS

added a little stickles / cuttle bug embossing folder swirls.

Udate I added video of this snow storm

We have 21 inches on the ground expecting 27 inches before it is all over with....That's a lot of snow! We are under a State of Emergancy...

I thought I would share a couple of Pictures I took tonight of the snow

We are expected to get 1 foot of The white fluffy stuff.....

As much as I hate it I have to say I am amazed at how GORGEOUS it is.

It is coming down so hard here you can't see anything but white!

I will take more tomorrow when it is daylight....

This is my first attempt at making a recessed window card.

I found the tutorial on splitcoast stampers... but I tweaked it a little, I made a template for mine that was easier for me...

flower stamp colored it then added pink flock and cut it out

I had planned on putting a ribbon on one side of the card so I cut the opening off to one side ...but then I changed my mind and added the lace around the window so now it looks off center...


oh well ....other than that I think it turned out pretty good for my first time....

Mothers Day card

Good morning all

I am so in to pinks and yellows right now...

I used K&Company paper

Spellbinders Nestie labels 4 & 1

With label 4 I stacked them to make this 3D flower ...these are so beautiful.

Fiskars boarder punch...I know ( GASP ) not a Martha punch! I do own others I just prefer Martha's. Hand made corner
