I used my Cricut art of philosophy cart for the card

Winter woodland for the snowman

White skittles, blue ribbon,snowflake punch and a little blue heart button.

Embossed his hat with swiss dots cuttle bug folder.

Scooby Doo

Hi everyone, Thought I would pop in with a quick post.
This is Ryan's birthday card he loves Scooby and cricut doesn't have a cart for him ( I WISH THEY DID ) well I didn't feel like looking for an svg file so I had some Scooby Doo wrapping paper so I used that for the paper...I had the Scooby Doo Font and I cut the eight from Mickey and friends cart embossed it and pop dotted.

the inside I used CTMH stamp that came with the art of philosophy cart.
flower punch and I cut Scooby out from the wrapping paper , embossed a boarder and it was done...

Let it Snow/Mini album

Happy Friday everyone , well today is another SOUS die cut challenge ( Winter Fun )

For my winter fun project I made a mini album...I got a new Cinch last weekend and was dieing to try it out...lol for the first time use it was pretty simple to use and that is right up my alley!

I used the DCWV Winter stack for all the paper and oooooh is it pretty...

Happy Friday everyone , Wow hard to believe it is the last Friday of 2011.....

The year went so fast I hope next year slows down a little..lol Well it is SOUS challenge again

this time it is ( Snow flakes ) I had a bunch of ideas lined up and then I got s-i-c-k so I went very simple! I used Cricut cart art of philosophy that I got from Carrie her Link is at the top of my page if you would like to ck it out.... for the snow flake , cut it out and used the negative to make the card I trimmed it down to size and added the dotted paper behind it.

Doodle stitched all around it. I used CTMH chip board tag and stamp I heat embossed the stamp..

Added some bakers twine and it is done...The colors are not so great the lighting was bad sorry....

Good Friday all , Boy it's hard to believe that next Friday is Christmas Eve...wow

We took a little time for ourselves to play a little over @ SOUS

This weeks die cut challenge is Baking and what fun it was!

For this one I choose to do a 2 page layout using Dina's awesome SVG files you can get them from Treasure Box Designs . This one is called Christmas Cookie and I also used Grandma's bake shop , I just love her SVG files they are so cute and easy to make! I inked them /used jelly roller pens to detail the eyes/stickles for some of the cookies/snow flake punch and ginger bread man punch/ ribbon/cuttle bug embossing folder snow flakes /

No pictures on this one I will fill them in later...

Country cookin recipe box

Good Friday morning all , My Daughter has been asking me for a recipe box for a while now and I come across this nice box @ Moms Memories brought it home and started on it right away....lol

It is another Kaisercraft they have so many nice things to make, I had to put it together and let me tell you this one was a lot easier than the advent calendar.

I first painted it black ( she likes country too haha) used graphic 45 papers inked the edges

covered everything inside and out with the papers....

Used lace / sm rosettes/buttons and bows.....

Cricut cart Country Life for all the cuts inked them and doodled of course....

used a corner punch and added that to the corners.

Had to add a cow to the front as she is a huge cow lover...lol

I was just gonna at decorative paper on the inside of the lid then I thought it would be a useful to add the measurement conversion chart. This was a fun easy project and I am really happy with the way it turned out.

Believe Advent calendar

Good Friday to ya. Well it's another Die cut challenge @ SOUS and this week it is a Christmas Tree. I have really been in the mood to play with making things instead of scrapbooking , I bought this Advent Callendar @ my local craft store Moms Memmories and a few other goodies I got also gonna post a little later.

This is a Kaisercraft advent calendar that you have to put together, the olny bad thing about it is it comes with no instructions.... I found some online and it worked prefect! I really like how this came out.

I used Kaisercraft Advent calendar put it together painted it black and added paper.

Martha Stewart branch punch for the fronts of the drawers every other one..

The numbers I painted black they come with the kit.

Cricut cartridge Christmas Cheer for the ( Christmas tree ) I cut the bottom off and added lace ribbon for a tree skirt. I used Martha Stewart branch punch and added a bunch of branches on the tree along with some fiber ribbon, sm pom poms, some red buttons and a gold star for the top. I used paper and folded it and made a box behind the tree to make it 3D.

Cricut cartridge Christmas cheer for the fire place also added branch punch on the mantel and folded box behind it also.....

The title came from cricut cart Winter woodland and plantin school I mixed and matched ...

For the top I used gingham ribbon that I LOVE...country. a bell some greenery and some sm bows .... I choose these colors because I love country and they are the traditional colors reds,greens. Well I hope I have given you some inspiration and I hope you stop by SOUS for lots more....thanks for stopping by

Hi everyone, Well it's another die cut Friday at @ SOUS And time it is Thanksgiving table anything that you associate with family and the time spent around the table, like turkey,pie,center piece etc...For my DT project I made a card .

I made an easel card of course, you know it's my favorite..lol

Fall colored papers and card stock.
The turkey and plate are die cuts from treasure box designs, Dina has the cutest svg files...

I inked it and doodled then I pop dotted it for a 3D look.

I used Martha Stewart branch punch to use as garnish around the turkey.

The fonts I got off the Internet , the ovals are spell binders , pop dotted

I used a tiny leaf punch and added some leaves and corner punches too...

Brown ribbon. Don't forget to stop on over and get some awesome inspiration and play along!

Happy Friday everyone, Well it is die cut challenge Friday @ SOUS....

This week it is a Leaf. The picture is kinda dark but it is of My GD Courtney , Ryan and her BFF Baylie...Last month we had gone to Shaker woods in Ohio , it is a wonderful craft show they have 2 or 3 a year this one was their Christmas one...I love to go It all set up with little cabins nestled in the woods with paths to each one I love just being there with the atmosphere.....

Any way the kids saw this pile of leaves and had to stop and play a little .....lol

so I snapped a pic of them!
The shaped paper was store bought

I used Cricut cart: Paper doll dress up for the tree, inked it and doodled.

Cricut cart: Pooh & Friends for Piglet / the leaves that I inked doodled and pop dotted some of them/Clouds pop dotted and doodled/ the picture frame inked....

Cricut cart Mini Monograms for the Friends title........The kids were throwing the leaves in the air so I positioned them on the page like piglet was throwing them too! This was a fun layout hope you enjoy...Stop by stuckonusketches and play along always a great challenge.....

Trick or Treat

April fools no, no Merry Christmas no that;s not right either I mean Happy Halloween That's what it is I think! We Had a FREAK SNOW STORM so I didn't know what time of the year it was....This is crazy I am just glad our trick or treating is always on Halloween night and it is gonna be 52 so that's better than in the 30's....

I made this Trick or Treat sign I think it turned out really cute!

I got the sign from Michael's for about $2.00 painted it black.

I added some Halloween paper

Used Cricut carts A child's year for the fireman and witch and moon

Paper doll dress up for the tree

Celebrate with flourishes for the Trick or Treat

Martha Stewart corner spider web and fence punches...

and some ribbon....

I sat it on a small easel to display it I think I am gonna make one for Christmas also!

Happy Thursday all, hope you are having a good day ...It is dark and raining here gonna get cold and mix with s-n-o-w later do you believe that already, I am so not ready for this.

Made this card for my Hubby's birthday on Wednesday . Bo Bunny http://bobunny.blogspot.com/2011/10/card-challenge-tuesday_25.html had a great card sketch challenge so I thought I would give it a try. I couldn't get a great picture it is so dark here the top part of the card is really a tan color....

I used

Cricut cart Art of Philosophy : for the square card cut @ 5 1/2 ins

Scalloped card that I layered on top of the square card is cut @ 4 1/2 ins cut a 2nd one out of black and layered it under the scalloped one.

Star cut @ 2 1/2 ins and I scored & folded it to make it 3D so it really pops!

2 Circles cut @ 2- 1/2 & 2-1/4 pop dotted

Black ink ...inked the edges and distressed the circle

Black dash ribbon and added some white dots along the edge, with some black skittles.

Stamped Happy Birthday

Happy Friday everyone it is a Die Cut Challenge Friday @ SOUS .... And this one is a Fence.

Well I was dieing to play with my new Cricut cart ( Art of Philososphy )and make them georgeous flowers. The cart I got from Carrie you can find her link at the right top of my blog. I couldn't believe how easy they are , and I love how they turned out.

Iused Cricut Cart Art of Philososphy for Banner / scalloped boarder/tree/fall/ flowers and the leaves that I stamped with the matching stamps from close to my heart...It is so easy I love how the stamps tell you what size to cut the macthing image and they fit together perfect....EASY!

Oh I so can't wait to play more with this cart sooooo much to do on it!

For the fence I used Pooh and friends.

This is a picture of my GD Courtney and her bff Baylie we went to a fall festival they had a blast together sorry the picture is not the greastest it was taken with my phone...

Used orange ribbon for the the banner , inked the edges and doodled used pop dots too.

Doodled on the scalloped boarder

Inked the edges of the flowers and destressed them a little... I added some buttons on the tree also for a little whimsy....

I used cuttle bug folder to emboss the fence and inked it!

Inked around the edge of the paper and used pop dots on the leaves....

Good Monday morning, It is a great morning here the air is a little crisp and the sun is shining.

A great fall day! I am so excited I got the new Exclusive to close to my heart cricut cartridge Art of Philosophy bundle and let me tell you it is soooooo AWESOME ! There is so much on it I didn't know where to start so I did an open the book and what it lands on I did ....lol This is what it landed on.... If you are a card maker this is a must have cart... I got mine from Carrie she is a wonderful scrapper card maker new to CTMH. Why not pay her a visit and check it out!

Now on with my card I said I needed a couple more thank you cards and with this cart I didn't have any problems making one.

I used the art of philosophy cart and CTMH thank you stamp.

Pop dots / ink / brads/cuttle bug embossing/ doodled and I love this cart has quite a few banners on it ....

This is my 2nd card made with my Cricut Imagine ... My Hubby had bought me one last in August and I made one card with it then it BROKE. I had to send it back they gave me a new one I just got it back last week and couldn't wait to play so more. Nanne had challenged me to make something with just the Imagine only....Well here it is!

Pop dots, ribbon and my new toy the Epiphany punch, I really like it ...like that you can match your papers and that is what I did!

A Book card

TGIF Happy Friday everyone and you know what that means , it's another die cut challenge at

I choose the tree from the cricut cart Heritage , I love this swirly tree .

I put it on a Book Card that I made for my Mother in-laws Birthday . I choose fall colors for my very first book card , I seen this and feel in love with it so I knew I had to try one really easy to make .

This is the card opened On the one side I made a pocket to put a tag in ...

On the other side is the open shadow box page

Here is a picture of the side so you can see it looks like a book.

I used

Cricut cart Heritage for the Tree and the tag with mother on it that I stamped and added some small black brads.

That was pretty easy cause you can use hearts for everything!

I choose to do a layout , the picture is of my Beautiful Granddaughter Courtney and myself together which I have very few pics of.

I used Coredinations embossed paper that I sanded and distressed.

Birthday card

Happy hump day
Well my Granddaughter Courtney turns 8 on Saturday and she really likes the Monster High Dolls. I thought I would try to find something with one on it and make her a card. I found this cute pic on the Internet ...

I printed it out 2 times the first one I used spellbinders oval and cut it out then added the spellbinders scalloped oval to it... I cut the 2ND one out and pop dotted it on to the printed one for a 3D look. I inked the oval also. Used Martha Stewart drippy goo boarder punch , EEEK and spider web corner punches , and some so bling ribbon...On the inside it will read Hope you have a Fangtastic 8Th Birthday.

Altered painters tray

Hello everyone,
I have had this tray for a while now and wanted to try to do something with it ...
My MOJO needed a KICK in the butt so I gave it one....lol I LOVE these trays and I had a blast making this, I think I am gonna have to make another one. I have a country living room so once again I used the burgundy and black to go with the room....
I used:
1. Cricut cart Heritage for the Tag cut @ 1 in
journey cut @ 3/4 ins
corner cut @ 2ins and the other cut @ 1 1/2 ins
2. Cricut cart Country life for Banner cut @ 1 1/2 ins and stiched it together with black floss and added stickers and some small clothes pins to hold it up with/ apple cut @ 2ins
chicken cut @ 2 1/2 ins/ stove cut @ 3ins
3. Cricut cart Donjuan for the B cut @ 2 1/2 ins
4. Simple Stories paper / small wooden fence/some black and white pictures of my family.
5. Bo Bunny buttons
6.Lace added some letter paper clips the spell LOVE

Flower card

So sorry this is so late! For got to post ....

It is SOUS weeks die cut challenge and this week it is a flower cut , easy huh
Well for me it was like pulling teeth.... I have soooo lost my mojo. I just could not come up with anything so I made this very S~I~M~P~L~E flower cut card from Cricut cart Hello kitty.

Crayon wreath

Good Tuesday morn all,

Well had a good weekend and now the kids are back to school.

I made this crayon on wreath for granddaughter Courtney's teacher she is in 2nd grade this year.

I seen these last year and been wanting to make one a little slow I know...lol

These are real simple to make and there are a few different was to make them.

Supplies used: 2 wood cross stitch rings 12 in & 8 in

1 box 64 crayons and I added about 10 more to make it fuller..

You can use any kind I choose Crayola and made sure that all the labels were facing the same way. Hot glue them

1 roll of ribbon ( optional ) I weaved around the wreath one way then back around the other way so it was doubled.

Cricut carts: locker talk and mini monograms for the cuts I also added a wooden sign and sprayed it with chalk board paint then wrote 2nd grade on it with chalk..added some ribbon with a small piece of chalk.

Roll of ribbon to make a bow and saved a piece to hang it with and glued to the back.

She gave it to her teacher and I was told she loved it ...the teacher sent me a very nice thank you note home...

Happy almost Friday everyone....

I got me a Cricut Imagine ( YEAH) and it came yesterday I was dying to play with so I sat down for awhile today and made a card ....

I think it is pretty easy to use. and what I LOVE is you can make everything coordinate .

If you have been following me you know I have been having a real problem with matching up papers lately...so this was AWESOME!

I used the Cricut Imagine: Imagine more ( that comes with it)

I printed , layered and cut the kite,picture frame ,note and boarder...also printed the plain and patterned papers...LOVE IT! added some brads and string , pop dots too.

I really like how it turned out for my very 1st project with it.

Good Friday to ya , hope it is a good one...

Well I thought I would change it up a bit and play along with the die cut team a while.

This week the Die cut challenge is SKY and thing that makes you think of the sky...EASY!

It does not have to be a layout , it can be anything...I made a long wood frame .

This is a picture of my Grand Daughter Courtney and her Best friend Baylie in the pool just chillin...Come on over to SOUS and play along.

I used Cricut cart: Doodle charms for the sun

Cricut cart : Sponge Bob for the title Just add water Pop dotted.

Cricut cart : Life's a beach for the Flip flops added felt flowers and tiny buttons/palm tree inked and embossed with cuttle bug/ the B F F S inked and doodled/and the small wave boarder.

Some ribbon and a 3D Goofy sticker with some sm fish , I painted the wood frame I got from Michael's and added some paper to the back ground....I made one for Both the girls and they loved them.

This is a picture of my Grand daughter Courtney @ Universal Studios Florida she is such a ham told her to let me take her pic by this car and the way she posed just made me think Lights, camera, action....Such Drama...LOL

Cricut cart: Jubilee for the lights and camera cut @ 1 & 1/2 ins

Cricut cart: Locker talk for action board cut @ 3ins , Camera cut @ 3ins, double faces cut @ 1& 1/2 ins..... added string and stickles on the camera, wrote the date we were there on the action board.

Cricut cart: Mickey & Friends fro the film strip ( that I love ) cut @ 2&1/2 ins

Cricut cart: Hanna Montana for Action cut several times and layered @ 2ins heat embossed with gold.

Cicut lite cart: Twinkle toes for the stage light cut @ 2ins and stickled.

Pop dots, inked around the edge of the paper ....

In keeping with thier 2yr celebration I made a 2 page layout and you guessed it DISNEY...lol

I used a Sketch from April Scrapping the Magic she did this sketch of finding nemo and I loved it thought it would be perfect for my 2 page layout of Disney.

I hand cut the Waves on the sides

Used Cricut cartridge Mickey and Friends for the title cut @ 1-1/4 ins

Cricut cartridge George for the circles

Added a sm Mickey from my Mickey punch and a sm heart punch

Ribbon and some skittles

I really love how this came out

Ok on to the fun stuff as soon as I heard summer album I knew this would be perfect for our Disney vacation pics.

I used Cricut cart Mickey and Friends for most of the cuts

Lots and lots of yellow,black,white and red ribbon...

I wanted the album to hold a lot of pictures , so I made some interactive pages.

Made some pull out tags....did some pop dotting

I used a waterfall card cut for this page and small tags from a scrapkit I got from my Disney trip, it has all 4 parks on them

I love the film strip cut on the M&F cart so perfect for pictures or journaling.

Used a double slider for this one

And here it is open.

Wanted this one to look like chalk board so I doodle a little.....

Another interavtive page and the paper was perfect to cut out and use for sayings on the page.

Here it is open with plenty of room for more pictures.

The pouch says magical moments and the saying on the tags is a defintion of magic ....

It is tide with twine and embossed with Mickey heads.

Hi all, another reveal day Friday at SOUS and it sure is a hot one.

Sorry I haven't been posting a lot lately I seem to have lost my mojo again dang stuff never stays around always have to go looking for it...lol Hopefully it will come back soon.

OK on to my layout I did this one for our Stuck On U Sketches DT.....

The picture is of arriving in Florida to me palm trees S~C~R~E~A~M Florida and when I see them I get really excited!

I used George cricut cart for the circle fit to page, and the triangles cut at 1 1/2 ins.

The title are we there yet is from a packet of chip board titles from Michael's

Palm tree is from liefs a beach cart cut at 8ins detailed with ink and chalk and pop dotted on.

For some interest I used bakers twine and tied it around the edges of the circle.

The road was cut from Cars cart ....

Well I am back from vacation we had a B~L~A~S~T I really hated to come home but here I am so back to reality...lol

A friend of ours had a baby girl a week ago got her a little something from Disney and made this cute little card for her.

My 35th Anniversary card

Hi everyone, hope your day is going well.
I will be spending my 35th Anniversary in Disney ( how cool is that )...love it!
So I made what else but a Disney card.....hahahaha and also Fathers day falls on my Anniversary this year so hubby gets to celebrate 2 things in one.......In Disney !!!!!! A little over a week to go and I am Sooooooo excited.

A Birthday card

Happy Friday everyone

Well I think this is the last card I needed for a while...lol

This is a birthday card and box

Made an easel card one of my favorite cards

I used Cricut cart stretch your imagination for the cake cut @ 4ins pop dotted it and added some stickles .Spellbinder oval die cut added the sentiment to it

Tied a big polka dot pink sheer ribbon around it

I used spellbinder round die cut and added a just rite cupcake stamp on it with lots of stickles

punched a hole in it and added on the ribbon as a tag.....

I probably won't be posting for a while , I have a couple more weeks till Disney and I have soooo much to get done I am really excited I need this vacation sooooooo bad! We have had nothing but rain for so long all my yard work is backed up , and I NEED SUNSHINE....I had a vitamin D deficiency it is supposed to be 30 to 100 mine was 13 no wonder I was depressed all winter. The doctor put me on a very high dose of vitamin D and I have just started to feel good again and boy it's a GREAT feeling! never new how much your body needed that vitamin.

Cricut cart Wild cards for the class of added some liquid glass on it to make it shine

Cricut cart George for congrats and Plantin school book for the letters and numbers.

Made it Blue and white school colors for Trinity high school

I think it really turned out cute.

Hi all I want to wish everyone a very Happy Mothers Day.

I made 2 of these cards I used

Cricut cart George for Mom pop dotted it put it on brown & white squares

Used Bakers twine and tied a charm on it , printed it's the little things on to a tag and put it at the bottom .

On the inside reads; that makes you so special, Happy Mothers day.

This was a very easy quick card

My very first mini album

Happy Monday all, I made my very first mini album....
This being teacher appreciation week I needed to make Courtney's teacher something.
I found this cool tutorial on you tube on how to make a pocket mini ,they are so easy to make.
What I like about it is 1 sheet of 12x12 paper makes 2 pages and lots of storage room...lol
I think it is almost a 6x6 album for the front & back I cut out chip board and made it a little bit larger than the pages used my big bite for the holes
With her only being in 1st grade I wanted to keep it simple and clean cut.
I used all primary colored card stock
DCWV school stack paper
1 1/2 in rings
red , black, white and yellow ribbon some pop dots
Cricut Carts used Plantin school book, locker talk,
For the front I cut the saying from the DCWV school paper stack added some star brads and an apple pop dotted, it opens and has 2 sheets of paper that I thought would be nice for Courtney to write her a little note

I added pull tabs to pull the tags out for pictures or what ever she chooses to use them for.

I didn't take a picture but all the tops of the pages are pockets also ( makes it nice to put pics or momentos in

And I noticed that I have a large P in computer don't know how that happened but it is staying....lol

I doodled some math problems on the paper

Clean and simple I hope she likes it.

Strike a Pose SOUS Sketch

Well Good Saturday to all,

I am sooooooo LATE posting this sorry ...... I have been working on so many different things I totally forgot wow! With Mothers day and teacher appreciation week DT stuff trying to get things ready for vacation ...I am going in every direction...lol

This is my DT layout for Stuck on you sketch's, I loved this sketch and for once it was very easy for me to do I knew exactly what pictures I wanted to use, these are Pics of my Grand Daughter Lily We spent the day at the zoo with the 2 GD's and Lily wanted me to take her picture sitting in the play area on these 3 different size mushrooms... she started on the little one then quickly moved on until she sat on all of them and she kept telling me to take her picture as she posed on all of them and I do mean POSED I had to wait while she got ready...made me laugh she is such a camera ham who knows maybe one day she will be a model ....

For this layout I used

Cricut cart Tink and friends for the mushroom cut @ 3ins and pop dotted.

Cricut cart Plantin school book for the scalloped edge

Some tulle

Sm butterfly punch added pearls to them

Spellbinders circle punch for the title pop dotted and added the title Strike a pose.

Easter Cross card

Hi all, Happy Friday.

Well I needed a couple more Easter cards so I sat down this morning and made a few...

I used

Cricut cart: Wild card for card and envelope cut @ 6ins

Cricut cart: Easter for the cross cut @ 4ins and pop dotted added some large pearls

Spell binders die cut for the sign that says he lives that I printed .

Found this really nice poem on line and printed it used it for the inside

Butterfly punch punched 2 edged the top one with glitter...and tiny pearls.

Added some white ribbon

I didn't have enough of the purple paper to frame the poem so I just cut strips and added them down the sides. I made 2 of these they were pretty easy and fast ...just what I like ( wink )

Good Stormy Tuesday morn to all,

Another dark & deary day in PA... gotta love it soooo doesn't look like spring.

On with the post I made my Grand kids their Easter cards Yesterday, I think they turned out cute.

I used Cricut cart Easter for the bunny cut @ 3ins and pop dotted then added ribbon and a google eye. happy Easter cut @ 2ins, eggs are left over from the card inked and embossed ... grass cut @ 1in

For the different colored eggs I cut 1in squares and taped them behind the opening before I put the lining in.

Yippee Ki - Yay ( book Card )

Good Thursday morning everyone

It is a great morning here get to see the sun (wow) don't get to see it to much so that feels awesome. Well I made a new kinda card and I LOVE IT... it is new to me...lol

A book card , I found this paper a Michael's on clearance and loved it so I decided to make my granddaughter Lily a Birthday card with it and let me tell you I am SUPER excited at how it turned out ....

Card recipe

1. brown card stock for the book cut @ 11 5/8 ins x 7 ins and scored @ 5 1/2 ins turn and score again @ 5 1/2 ins this make your book .

2. pink card stock cut @5 3/8 ins x 6 3/4

3. your paper cut @ 5 1/4 x 6 5/8 the little strip for the binding i just eyed the paper and cut it to fit...Used stickers from my stash for her name Lily on the binding and the colors didn't show very well in the pic but the binding is pink ...sun was on it so it washed it out...

4. Brads for the binding put them in before you put the inside paper on this way it hides the back of them.

5. I cut out some of the images from the paper and pop dotted them to make them 3D.

6. Yippee Ki - yay I printed from the computer I used word then used Spellbinders cut , embossed , inked and pop dotted....

7. Cut a piece of card stock 4 x 2 3/4 score @ 1/2 in on 3 sides cut the 2 bottom corners diagonal so it will fold correctly to make a small pocket to put money or gift card in .cut half circle with 1in circle punch sewed around it...

8. Cricut cart paper doll dress up for the cowgirl cut @ 5 ins used google eyes and added stars and ribbon to her..inked

9. Cricut cart picturesque for the corners cut @ 1in

10. found this cute cowgirl poem on line and printed it...love the saying!

I made this card for my Mom's 84th Birthday at the end of the month.

No cricut do you believe it...lol

I used K & Company paper 2 sided cut it in half and sewed around it.

Ribbon added a small flower ribbon in the center

Martha Stewart scalloped boarder punch

Spellbinders Petite scalloped and reg oval

Celebrate stamp heat embossed with gold & added a Sm butterfly with pearls to it.

pop dots the inside is a mirror image of the front....

Found these really nice stamps for birthdays I think they are K & company that I used for the inside it reads..... Youth is a gift of nature but age is a work of art.

Hi all,Well it's Friday and that means reveal day for Sous I love these....... So here is our new sketch and it is a real beauty! Don't forget to come on over and play along we would love to see your take. Here is my take on the sketch, I was so inspired by Dawn's tutorial on the cardboard that I had to try it. It is not nearly as good as hers she is such a very talented lady....but it didn't turn out to bad.

I used Dawn's technique for the cardboard and sprayed glitter on it that doesn't show up to well in the picture.

Cricut cartridge: Life's a beach ,Sponge Bob and George

Life's a beach for Title cut @2 ins 6 times to make them thick like chip board then I inked them with Tim Holtz inks and the shark cut @3 ins chalked it, pop dotted and added google eyes. The wave was cut @ 1in shadowed and chalked.......

Sponge Bob for all the seed weed , star fish and shells....

George for the circle cut @ 8 ins and inked.

Cut to strips and embossed them with swirls cuttle bug folder

Added jute strips and tied them at the top.

Hi all,

I have been wanting to craft but I have really been having a little bit of a hard time creating..

Ever feel like that? Well after a couple hit & misses I made a card

I used my Spellbinders Oval nestie and cut the opening in the card the embossed it with the spellbinders scalloped oval. sm felt flower with a button.

Used Cricut create a critter cart for the cute little bunny cut @ 2 & 1/2 ins and pop dotted

The saying came from the Internet printed it and used my sm spellbinder circle pop dotted it.

Martha Stewart scalloped edge punch ....and some pretty gingham ribbon to finish it off.

I used Cricut Winter Woodland for the title Brrr, bird on a branch and the big snow flake .Used my sm snow flake punch Added lots & lots of Martha Stewart Glitter Snow flakes ,pop dots and a glittery ribbon......the picture are from our snow storm we got like 25 ins of the nasty white stuff don't know why I scrapped it I hate snow....lol

Good Wednesday every one, hope it is a good one...dark and ugly here but hey at least it is not snowing and spring is right a round the corner...ah life is good!

I got the new Disney Classic cricut cart so you know I had to play.

This card is for a special friend of my mine ....

I used Cricut Disney Classic cart for Flower the skunk from Bambi, I cut it @ 4 1/2 ins pop dotted it . So Sweet I made a sticker and added it , also doodled

Happy Monday all,

I really like playing with this cart Nifty Fifties a lot of great cuts .

I promise this is the last one for a while....

This card is for my future son in-law his Birthday card.

I used Nifty Fifties cricut cart for all the cuts

added some ribbon and pop dots.....

Also wanted to share with you that Provo craft sued MTC ( make the cut ) and won

and now they are going after SCAL ( sure cuts a lot ) so they won't be compatible with the cricut expression .... but I learned that if you don't update your soft ware you can still cut the svg files.... I really don't know why prove craft can't join with scal & mtc . Even though I use scal I still buy cricut carts... so what is the big deal!

Today is an awesome day the sun is shinning bright , Courtney is well all besides a cough that I see lingering for a while. I really feel like crafting ..... Awesome feeling!

Good Friday everyone,

Not a great start with the earth quake in Japan and the Tsunami gonna hit The west coast..

I pray everyone is safe.

I am sorry for the long stretch of no posts, I have been having a pretty rough time here.

Starting to believe I am cursed...lol Not a great start to the year my Mom had a stroke a couple of months ago , I was in the hospital with colitis ,Husband had the flu, my mother in-law just got out of the hospital , Courtney ( my Grand Daughter ) got a nasty virus last Saturday with a very high fever still sick but much better hasn't went to school all week. and now my Daughter has got it ....when is this all gonna get better ! So that is why I haven't had to much time to craft :(

I order the new Nifty Fifties and Disney classics carts got them yesterday so I played a little last night. N F has some great cuts on it ..... this is one of my favs.

Today is a Stuck on U Sketches reveal day

And of course I did another Disney layout...lol but this time I softened it up a bit.

Layout recipe

1. Papers are K & Company and cream card stock staggered & layered them distressed the edge and inked.

2. Cricut cart Tink & Friends for Rosetta cut @ 6ins pop dotted.

3. Picture was taken on our last trip to Disney @ the flower & garden festival in Epcot , love to go in May for this it is soooo Beautiful! But gonna miss it this year :( had to push my trip back to June the school wouldn't let Courtney go in May.

4. Paper doily inked the edges.

5. Cricut cart home accents for the swirls and can't remember what cart the fence came from...

added some lace ribbon to the fence inked it, added sm flowers to the swirls.

6. Made rosettes using Nanne's tutorial from SOUS ....

7. Martha Stewart boarder punch.

8. A tag to journal on

Happy March 2nd,

Wow I can't believe it is march already ..but I am not complaining can't wait for summer!

I have really been itching to do some layouts so I worked on this one this afternoon.

I took this pic of Courtney goofing off with her St Patty's hair band, and she is just a wee bit Irish...lol

Paper : K & Company & My minds eye

Chip board scallop & Arrow covered them with paper and inked them.

For the scallop I added some lace behind it and gingham ribbon with a buckle I made and heat embossed with gold embossing power.

The title A wee bit Irish , hat and clover I welded and cut with design studio...

I made my own chip board letters then heat embossed them with green embossing powder.

I used paper glass on the small hat

Cricut carts used: Life is a beach for the font, A child's year for the hat, celebrate with flourishes for the clover,picturesque for the corner flourishes , and Treasure box designs Girl leprechaun svg ...... added a few green gems to the arrow and that's it a fun whimsical layout!

I really love doing this inking thing.....lol

So I played a little bit and came up with this one.

I used my nesties petite oval and scalloped oval

Found this really cute clip art that I love using saves coloring.

Stamped and heat embossed then inked

pop dotted the nesties, added some sheer white ribbon really really like this

Think I will play some more.

My first time inking

Good morning all

My Mom was gonna make me some crocheted dish towels for Christmas then she became sick and couldn't so my Aunt Shirley made me some and sent them to me yesterday...wasn't that nice of her! So I made a thank you card for her

I have been all in to trying different techniques lately .....

This is my first attempt at inking and I must say I really like it.

I used gold card stock

EK Success paper stack

and tan card stock to ink on

Cricut cart opposites attract for the thanks cut in gold

I used my pink , dark pink and green ink pads and a sponge to apply it ( didn't have a ink blending tool ) I have a few dab marks but hey not bad for first time out.....

I used my butterfly stamp and stamped the tan card stock first with versa mark heat embossed it with gold embossing powder then used the lt pink ink and the dark pink and then finally the green went all over the card stock with it.

trimmed it with gold card stock

Added sheer pink polka dot ribbon

A Nestie butterfly die cut pop dotted in between them, I used glue around the edges and added some fine glitter it doesn't show very well but it is really pretty!

A few pearls and I was done I really LOVE how this turned out.

Well while recouping from my hospital stay my Hubby got the flu

My Sister offered me to stay at her house for a few days so I didn't get it, wasn't that sweet of her! So to thank her I made her a card.

I used the double embossing method I really like this ...

Sorry I have not posted in awhile I have had a lot going on.

First I was in the hospital just got released today had a thing called colitis very very painful.

But I am on the mend

Here is my take on this weeks sketch

Scooby Doo layout from our trip to universal studios Florida

I used Scal for the Scooby Doo bust and title cut and the palm tree I used Treasure box designs tropical snowman collection.

Cricut Sponge Bob cart for the flower boarder and some small flowers and entwined some jute through them.

Added a few buttons for dimension and finished it with pop dots

A very fun and easy layout .

Good morning all

Well as most of you know I have been in a slump lately with scrapping , but I think it is coming back I hope! Here is a layout I did for the stuck on u sketches challenge ... I thought to get me back in to scrapping I would start out with some sketches....

This is a layout of our visit to Epcot getting ready for another trip to Disney in May I can't wait...You know I LOVE DISNEY !!!!!

I thought the sketch was perfect for the ball in Epcot......

I used Cricut cart Mickey & Friend font for the title cut @ 2ins and pop dotted.

Cricut Mickey & Friends for the hands boarder cut @ 1 1/2 ins and pop dotted.

Sticker attached to white paper and cut out for the words at the bottom....

The Epcot ball was cut with George circle cut to fit 10 3/4ins and used my score pal for the lines.

Added some ribbon under the hands a very simple layout .

This is her tropical winter collection....I inked doodled and pop dotted it at a flower for more of a tropical look... On the inside it reads sending warm wishes your way and hoping you have the best birthday ever and added a scarf.

Good blustery cold Friday everyone,

We had about 6 ins of snow last night and it is bitter cold this morning our high is only gonna be 17 degrees Brrrrr and the Kids didn't have school today.Ok on with the card ... I have not been that excited about crafting lately til I came across this little cutie! This is a new card I found on

splitcoaststampers it is call a sliding/pop up card, I just love it I thought the kids would have fun with this one so they are gonna be their Valentine cards this year. I got a couple more to make yet.

I used Treasure box Designs Cute Bear SVG file...I just LOVE Dina's work.

The Bear I inked , doodled and added a flower to her hair.

Added a bow around the card

and that's it done! I love how it turned out .

Good Icy Tuesday morning

Woke up this morning to a beautiful coating of ICE on everything!

It really is beautiful with the sun on it ....gonna rain later that's right I said rain not snow (yeah)

I am so glad for a break from the cold and snow maybe it will start to melt.

Here is another layout from the Polar Express train ride we went on....

I used

Cricut carts Tinker bell and friends for believe

Home accents for the swirls on the corners of the pictures

Christmas for the bell and the train and snow flakes

every day paper dolls for the train tracks

Storybook for the back ground shape

I double cut the title and off set it so you could see the white to look shadowed.

The snow flakes I add Martha Stewart snow to them and branches pop dotted them.

The bell added a ribbon bow and stickles also pop dotted.

The train I chalked doodled and added brads on the wheels

The track I inked

I used Fisker corner punch for the corners of the layout and the corners for the pictures.

Winter fun

Happy New Year everyone!

Well out with the old and in with the new, I decided with such a crappy year last year I am gonna change it this year and take my life back!!!!

1. Back to church ( I was really slipping ) ( GOD FIRST )

2. Accept my self just as I am ( stop worrying about my weight gain ) I am gonna watch my portions.

3. Get more involved with people ( I have shut my self off from the world and sank into a pretty good depression ( NO MORE ) Mainly because of self esteem issues!

4. Get up and get moving ( even if it hurts ) as most of you know I have planter fasiitis in my foot I have been suffering with it since May 2010 .

5. Try to get back to scrapping and crafts.... thus this post...haha

I have been really busy with my Mom she had a slight stroke a few days before Christmas and it has really affected her short term memory and she gets confused but I am thankful we still have her.

Ok on with the page... We went on the Polar Express train ride in Dec ( It was awesome )

You take a train ride and the kids get to dress in their pj's they read them the story and Santa , Mrs Claus and the elves are there also they give you hot chocolate and cookies ( YUM )

play games and at the end they give the kids a bell ( Do you BELIEVE ).... I do

We had such a Great time and I took lots of pictures so hope I will be scrapping them...

This is a picture of my Daughter Tabatha and her future Husband Juddy standing out side the train station they had it decorated really nice!

I used Treasure box design's svg files of this cute cute cute bear in a cocoa mug.

I just LOVE Dina's work!

I used my cuttle bug to emboss them with the snow flakes and added some stickles for some extra sparkle.....inked and detailed everything! I made 7 of theses

I have not been on in a while boy when you stop crafting it is soooooooo hard to get back in to it my mojo in gone. I do a little here and there maybe it will come back after the holidays.

I used an svg file for the Angel

Cuttlebug swirl folder for the dress and swiss dots folder for the card.

Corner punch and I used design studio and cricut cartridge Joys of the season for the tag , I stretched the tag to make it a little longer....

Martha Stewart branch punch and gems for the halo and added some ribbon .

Martha Stewart tree & snowman punch for the boarder.

Used black pen to write Joy on the tag and Spell binder round scallop nestie.

Good frosty morning all ....

I have all these svg files and haven't played with them yet so I thought I would break them out and have a little fun. This is from Dina , I told ya I just LOVE her files they are all soooo cute!

This one is her Christmas village set she is doing Coca Cafe .

I did a 2 page layout no pics yet but we drink enough Coca in the winter so I am sure I will have plenty.....lol

I used Dina's svg files for the house / candy bear/ coco up bear and the bushes.

Cuttle bug embossing folder swirls for the cups and dis stressed folder for the door add a little ginger man button for the knob. Tore white card stock and layered it for the snow, pop dotted a few things added sticklesl for the trim on the hats and some of the trim.....

For the title I put( There's nothing better on a cold winters day ) doodled and added sm heart buttons. Martha Stewart goo punch for the top.

I am really please with the way it turned out!

A couple new cards

Good morning all., hope your day is off to a great start.

Got my coffee in hand computer in front of me and a few new things to share aww life is good !

Well today is my Son's wedding anniversary and My husbands birthday so I had to make two cards talk about having to get back in the swing of things fast...lol Well I started out with simple .

For my Bill's birthday card I made a gate fold card and used a clipart of a baby bird added some jute to it . I embossed it with cuttle bug used my nesties and stamped the sentiment

pretty simple. For The anniversary card I used more nesties and cricut celebrate cart for the bottle pop dotted it and embossed it also used corner punch...... ok I made it through that now maybe I will try to start on my Christmas cards...lol

Happy Labor day all

We are not doing anything today so I thought I would make my Daughter Tabatha's Card tomorrow is her Birthday 31 wow I am getting old...nothing like kids to remind you...lol

I got the new Toy Story cartridge and this was my first cuts from it , boy I don't know about this one a lot of small cuts and lots of piecing gonna try the 3d boxes don't know how that's gonna go.

I cut the rope picture frame @ 4ins and added brads to the flowers. pop dotted it

An update on my foot

I went to a new doctor and he says I have bone spurs and tinnitus and he had me go have an M.R.I done on it he strongly feels I have a stress fracture of the heel.....

I should know something by the 16th....

I just want it to get BETTER...... :-(

Hi all

Well 2nd day of school for Courtney and everything seems to be going great...I am glad!

Also 2nd day of 90 degree temps gonna have that the rest of the week never fails it is always scorching the week the kids go back to school. Tomorrow My other Grand Daughter Lily starts her first year at Kindergarten I hope she does well also. I got the grass cut well the patches of grass with seeds it has been so hot and NO rain nothing did any good growing this year any way I watered my plants weeded a little and hosed down the drive way , gotta get a shower and off to the store, I think I am off to a pretty good start.

My foot is still hurting some days pretty bad I made an appointment with a specialist for Thursday tired of messing around with this other doctor something gotta give pretty soon ....gotta get it better for Disney in the spring. Please pray for me !

I do a little bit then I have to rest it and I am growing larger by the day starting to get pretty depressed here.....Oh well enough of that on to my card.

A fellow my Bill works with is getting married Friday Bill ask me to make him a card

She is sooo excited, This is a large card to big for an envelope I am gonna hand deliver it.

For this I used

Cinderella's castle cut @ 11ins and shadowed for the card I used a brad to keep it together so it also swivels to open.

Dreams come true cut at 3/4 in

Cinderella is cut @ 6ins and pop dotted I also added a ribbon on her dress and some stickles on the white of her dress.... On the inside I put Happy Birthday Bonnie now go play like a Princess and enjoy Disney.

Made another card this one is for my Brother in law His Birthday is the 30th and My Sisters is Sept 3 and they are going to Disney to celebrate ( Yeah ) This will be his first time going to Disney , he does not go on vacation he feels it is a waste of money so after a little pushing and a lot of shoving he agreed to go for my Sister...thanks Mike. So that is why I made a Donald card it was just perfect for him....

Donald cut @ 6 1/4 ins shadowed and pop dotted

Boat cut @ 10 / 1/2 ins added a D brad to hold it together so it swivels to open.

I had to make a card for a Friend of ours she just had knee surgery.

Boy am I rusty...lol I think the old cricut had dust on it that's a first! Sorry old Gal

Well after about 2 hrs and some screw ups I got a card done wooo hoooo

I really am having Disney with draw so I made a Minnie Easel card for her with a matching box to put it in.

I used Cricut cart Mickey & Friends font for Minnie cut @ 4ins & Oh My cut @ 1 in & Rose cut @ 3ins.

I doodled around Minnie's bow and added a foam heart to it.... Spell binders scallop oval & oval pop dotted them

Ribbon and added a button to the o in Oh my just to give it a little character.

Did the traditional Disney red white and black colors that I love!

O k that's it for the card......Now to keep you up to date on me

Tab and Courtney made it back from Myrtle Beach they had a blast and got nice & BROWN

Our company from California left to go home ..Had a blast with them.

My Foot is getting better slowly ...THANK GOD I have good days and bad ones.

Other than that Life is GREAT !!!!!

Sorry so long in between posts, but I really have not been in the mood to craft.........Eeeeech I know. I bought some more svg files so maybe that will get me excited enough to want too!

As for my foot that is another thing I am about ready to cut it off......

About a month 3 shots and 3 ultra wave treatments and still hobbling.....they are gonna try to up my meds and fit me for an arch support for in my shoe to see if that helps.....

Been pretty busy getting my yard work done oh has it been looking pretty bad!

Tabatha and Courtney are on vacation this week , they went to Myrtle Beach

Sure do miss them, but they call every day and are having a fantastic time they will be home Sunday. My Niece and Nephew are home for a couple of weeks then we are expecting more relatives from California ....So I will be busy with Family.

Thought I would post this My Niece Tina wanted me to help her make a gift for her son's new teacher ........

She bought a small tin lunch box and we decorated it, she is gonna fill it with goodies.

Good Wednesday to you all

I have been pretty busy lately, I want to scrap but just can't get in the mood.

I did need a card for my Son who is graduating July 1 st......

For this I used

Papers/ red & black card stock and DCWV paper stack

Cricut carts plantin school book for 2010& locker talk for the cap

I used chip board for the cap and covered it with paper....

A very simple card!

For the inside I copied the front paper minus the 2010 & cap and added my own saying.

Well thats it for now I want to get out and get my grass cut before it gets to hot and chance of storms later today....

Fathers Day card

It is gonna be a hot one here.... ( not complaining )

Thought I would share a few cards I made

First one is my Husbands Fathers day card I made him

This shirt card and he is so not a shirt and tie kinda guy he works in a steel mill dirt and grime.

I used small circle spell binders and stamped my guy on it with staming up stamps.

I hand pieced everything...used ribbon for the tie and hankie

sm brads / buttons and heart sticker.

the saying in side I came up with ...what a poet I am ...lol

the second one is Our Anniversary card

Today is our Anniversary 34 years.

I used Cricut cart Mickey and Friends for

Mickey & Minnie cut @ 6 ins and pop dotted

Heart was cut @ 6 3/4 ins punched hole in top corner and add ribbon and a heart brad.

our initials cut with Mickey font @ 1in

That's it for the crafting.... I have been pretty busy , We took the girls to the zoo

they had a blast I took lots of pics so I will be scrapping them along with the Idle wild ones...

We had a birthday party to go to yesterday and still layed up with this stupid foot.

I had a second shot in my heel Thursday and they did some kind of ultra sound to break up all the inflammation , Doctors say there is still a lot in there and when I have the shot and they get done poking and probing on it ...it is really irritated.....so I thought I would rest it a while....

Nothing big planned for our day today maybe a movie and dinner.

other than that just gonna enjoy the day.....hope everyone has a great weekend

We went to Idlewild park on Sunday , My Hubby's work picnic.

We go once a year....It's a nice park for kids. So I will be scrapping a lot of those pics.

I needed a coaster cut for the Woody woodpecker roller coaster ride at Universal Studios

this pic is from last year ...This was one of Courtney's favorite rides !

I have been checking the walmarts for the new cricut lite carts all the ones around me don't have them so on the way home from the park I had my Hubby stop at a walmart along the way and guess what they had them so I got Carousal cart, it has a bunch of stuff on it that is great for using for parks.

I used DCWV paper stack

Used Design Studio for the ticket cut and stretched it to fit the page then cut it so I have the out line of the page.

I just had to share this video I took of my Grand Daughter Courtney singing and dancing to her Favorite CD Justin Bieber ( OH MY ) scream ! You gotta love her out fit ...tiger print and flowers wow ...lol I love her facial expressions and especially when she is trying to rap. Not bad for only being 6 yrs old.

This is a fence between the Simpson ride and the store..
I couldn't resist I thought this would make for a cute layout, but haven't scrapped it yet because I couldn't find any Simpson stuff. Now that I have sure cuts a lot I get finish a lot of my layouts!

Happy Friday all !

The sun is shining and the temps are warm....Yeah Baby life is GOOD....

Well as most of you know I stopped smoking 2 yrs ago and gained about 35 pounds this along with health issues I have been suffering from bouts of depression. Well last week I have decided to take back my live and not let all of this consume me... Been watching what I eat and portions

exercising and keeping busy (getting off my big butt ), went to the doctor the start of many visits to get many problems fixed. I have Plantar fasciitis (tendinitis) Very painful! in my heel.

I got a shot in it yesterday so I have to rest it a couple of days that's why I have been scrapping.

I also have to go July 2nd for a 2nd mammogram they found a lump 6 months ago and want to see if it is still there So please say a little prayer for me K. So come Monday tread mill here I come....Lol. Ok I got that out so on to my layout another of Dina's svg files...http://www.treasureboxdesigns.com/ I just love them so cute! I wish cricut would make some of these kind of carts, I would have them all!!!!!!

I really love the eyes on them.

I used Dina's sleepy time svg file So CUTE !

inked, doodled and detailed everything...

I added lace to the bed for a bed skirt and blanket ruffle and around the lamp shade.

Pop dotted the bed to make it 3D and pop dotted the stars and the clouds.

Used buttons for the drawer handles.

Used silver foil paper for the mirror and added a ribbon on top

Debbie Mumm papers bg paper looks purple but is pink.

Cricut cart Cuttin up for the title cut @ 2 ins and George for the stars .

I really LOVE how this turned out.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

I have been soooo busy all week planting and weeding and replacing our split rail fence ...wooh!

I added a bow to her hair / pop dotted the banana split / cuttle bug embossed the whip cream with swirls folder and added some paper glass on the cherry to make it shine.

Well here is another layout I did using Dina's files ( I LOVE THEM )

Paper piecing ...boy , girl , hose, sun and pool with water splashes they are all one set called coll in the pool. stop on over and ck them out they are all on sale for 40% off right now.

Cricut Don Juan cart for( just a little) cut @ 1 1/2 ins and doodled.

Let me tell you the story behind what I am thankful for.

Last night a 10 yr old little boy in our neighbor hood went missing for about 2 hours and if that wasn't bad enough he has autism ... I tell you we have the best neighbors everyone pulled

together with police , search dogs and helicopter, fire department and news team to look for him, I never seen so many flash lights, where we live is woods, train tracks ,creeks.... so you can just imagine all the lights in the dark. So thankful he was found about 3 miles on the other side of town unharmed and returned home to his parents Thank GOD! God does answer Prayer.

Movie was cut @ 2 ins and night was cut @ 1 in

The bear is called lazy bear I inked pop dotted and doodled him... I re sized him and made him a different color for the top one. And the little bear in the pop corn tub I just LOVE, isn't he the cutest little thing! I used score pal to add lines on the bucket and stamped popcorn with just rite stamps.I used some red and white gingham ribbon to finish it off.....

I entered it in one stitch at a time challenge it is polka dots.

Hi all

I hope where ever you are the sun is shinning ...we have had rain and dark skies all week.

Well for Mothers Day I got drum roll please ( SCAL ) yeah!

I have been playing with it and thank God I have Design Studio so that gave me a little bit of a head start. I have been wanting this for a while now I seen all these awesome things done with it.

I found this site that sells scal2 files and Dina is such a talented artist.

I made this layout for DGD Courtney she graduates Kindergarten this year and they had this cute little bear I couldn't resist. I used

DCWV grade school paper cut out you are a star and pop dotted it and the black board.

Kindergarten I used Cricut locker talk cut @ 4ins and doodled with whit gel pen.

The cute cute Graduation bear ....I love it and yes I detailed it ! I am really happy with the way it turned out. I pop dotted him chalked, inked and doodled also........

It is a rainy cold one here....

When Michael's had a sale on shirts I bought a few waiting to do some freezer paper shirts.

I got my house work done this morning so I played a little

I know this is not the traditional colors for Minnie but I had this green shirt and I was gonna use it Dang it! Being the Disney nut that I am You know I had to do a Minnie Mouse her and Mickey are my FAVORITE Characters.Next itme I go to Disney I want to go in the fall and I thought the orange Minnie looked like the Mickey shaped pumpkins....

I think it would be great for fall....

I used Cricut cart Mickey & Friends for the Mickey head cut fit to page that is 8 3/4 ins

and the bow is cut @ 4ins. I cut them out of material and ironed them on the shirt with heat bond ...you can find this at any sewing store.

The Minnie Mouse I cut @ 2ins with freezer paper and painted it.

I really like how this turned out...stay tuned I have a few more yet to make.

Happy Wednesday all

It is sun shiny here ( YEAH ) that is always a great start to my day.

Well here I go again another create a critter layout...

Told ya I couldn't stop playing with it. These cuts went perfect for the lo.

We went to a theme park called Kennywood last summer and at the entrance there is a cowboy

that you can sit with on a bench and the kids did just that....

For this layout I used

Cricut cart Create a Critter for

Horse cut @ 3 ins inked and doodled

Sheriffs badge cut @ 3ins inked and doodled

Howdy cut @ 2ins and doodled shadow cut and off set it so the yellow shows.

Horse shoes cut @ 3ins

pop dots/ the scallop and photo corners are chip board shapes I covered with paper.

I sewed a Blanket stitch around it to frame it, and added google eyes to the horse.

cuttle bug embossed the scarf around the horses neck.

The paper I had for ever I don't know who makes it bought it loose at Michael's it has cowboy stuff all over it...added textured paper over it .

Teacher appreciation day

Hi all

I am late posting to day, had a trying day....

I had to take my Daughter to med express this morning she has been sick since Friday.

Vomiting and diarrhea...well a while back she had gallstones so they said they wanted her to be seen at the hospital , they run tests and thank God all she has is a virus. I had a Doctors appt today as you know I have been sick for some time now they say it is sinus and allergies.

Got meds so I really hope this all works...wish me luck!

Ok so today was teacher appreciation day at DGD Courtney's school

I made a couple of things for her to give to her teacher...

1. Book marker made with locker talk cricut cart cut @ 2ins

2. An Award for best teacher made with locker talk cut @ 8ins and added a black background paper and a ribbon cut @ 2 1/2 ins from Plantin school book cart

3. Tissue box with Sesame street characters all cut @ 4 1/2 ins

pencil , school is cool, books and scissors all cut with locker talk....

4. a card and envelope cut @ 6 ins from wild card cart.
